Here's another tricky ShockWiz mounting problem - Evil Following with RockShox Monarch RT3
One of our renters kindly sent in this mounting solution to mount ShockWiz to his Evil Following and RockShox Monarch RT3. The probelm with Shockwiz and Evil frames is that there is very little room to mount ShockWiz to the shock. The solution here was to mount it to the upper rocker itself.
He used the Short hose to connect to the shock valve, then LOOSELY attached the ShockWiz to the rocker as shown below (to allow some wobble).
Route the zip tie through the rubber boot holes rather than the ShockWiz body to allow for some movement as the shock moves through its travel range. This will prevent excessive strain on the hose/connections. He found that one zip tie is enough to secure the ShockWiz, as two zip ties prevented the little bit of play that is needed to prevwent hose binding and strain.
